EXTRACT from the rules on the approval of the rules for the organization and conduct of continuing education courses for teachers

Teaching staff - teaching staff and persons equated with them, undergoing training as part of a continuing education program
Certificate - a document confirming the level of compliance of a specialist’s qualification with qualification requirements, as well as standards for a particular field and level of professional activity;
Continuing education of teaching staff is a form of vocational training that allows you to acquire new ones, as well as maintain, expand, deepen and improve previously acquired professional knowledge, skills, competencies to improve the quality of teaching and learning;
Post-course support of teaching staff - a set of measures for the methodological, consulting support of the educational activities of teaching staff, tracking their teaching activities in the post-course period, aimed at developing the professional competence of teaching staff;
Chapter 2. Organization of Courses
Courses are organized by:
1) without interruption from work (including distance learning);
2) with a separation or partial separation from labor activity;
3) for individual educational programs;
4) abroad with a separation from work for up to 1 year.
Paragraph 4 as amended by the acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 29, 2017 No. 498 (shall be enforced upon expiry of ten calendar days after the day its first official publication).
Course Duration:
1) short-term courses - at least 36 academic hours;
2) long courses - at least 108 academic hours.
Duration of Courses Abroad:
1) short-term courses - up to 3 (three) months;
2) long courses - up to 1 (one) year.
Clause 21 as amended by the acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 29, 2017 No. 498 (shall be enforced upon expiry of ten calendar days after the day its first official publication).
Organizations carried out:
1) post-course support for certified teaching staff;
2) post-course support for teaching staff;
3) development and approval of methodological resources and tools to provide post-course support or post-course support, diagnostic tools and / or the mechanism for conducting post-course monitoring (as agreed with the Education Directorates).
Clause 31 is in the wording of the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12.06.2018 No. 266 (shall be enforced upon expiry of ten calendar days after the day its first official publication).
The organizations jointly with the Education Directorates conduct post-course monitoring.
The Ministry coordinates post-course monitoring of Courses and evaluates the effectiveness of Courses.
The pedagogical worker concludes an agreement with the Center on continuing education courses (hereinafter - the Agreement).
The rules are supplemented by paragraph 34 in accordance with the order of the acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 29, 2017 No. 498 (shall be enforced upon expiry of ten calendar days after the day its first official publication)
